Sharing can be turned on in the Manage My Groups menu. Once citations are organized into groups, individual groups can be shared with other EndNote Online users for collaborative/group projects.

RIS is the most common format which is supported by a number of citation and reference managers (Software). This export option will generate a file that needs to be imported into EndNote. In most databases, there is an Export option with the various file format of the save option. Most citations needed to add to the EndNote will be imported from online resources or a literature database.
